VAT in funding reports

We have some discrepancies in the ILR funding reports - VAT seems to be added to some of our Skills Bootcamps and not others. We were under the impression that DfE funded provision is VAT exempt but that doesn't match up with the funding report totals.
Although we're also getting professional advice and have raised a ticket with DfE it would be good to hear from other skills bootcamp providers re if your funding report totals include VAT?
