Claiming Levy Learners as Achievers

Created

None

How is a Levy Learner processed as an achiever on the ILR? There won't be any PMRs to record as there are no employer contributions (which I always thought generated the final payment) so I'm not sure how I ensure the final payment is made to us when I process as an achiever. Any guidance much appreciated

Almost the exact opposite! ;)

A non-levy App's completion payment *only gets stopped* if the PMR records aren't there. Because a Levy app does not require any PMRs (presuming the learner hasn't fallen out of Levy at any point), the completion payment is just released.

Thanks Steve. Would you know if there is something that should be processed for a Levy Learner that is different to a non levy learner? Basically, I processed this learner as an achiever last month as you described (ie no PMRs) but we've not had the completion payment and I can't see what I have done wrong.

Hi Naomi,

Going back to Steve's point, if you go into your period end reports and use the "Apps Co-Investment Contributions Report v2" is the learner on here at all?

If your learner is on this report it would suggest he could be a levy shortfall with his current employer or a non-levy/levy shortfall with a previous employer.

Then you can view in column Z vs column AA the completion payments earnt vs what you have been paid.

Thanks Ryan, I shall investigate.
