End dates when a learner goes on a break

Hi

I've always been a little unsure what end dates to use for the programme and component aims when a learner goes on a break and wondering if anyone could clarify.

I'm not sure if I'm overthinking it :)

So for example, if a learner who is also completing functional skills, would the actual end date for the functional skill be the date they last attended a class prior to the break.  Then would the standard component aim be the last off the job activity, with the programme aim being the latter of the 2?

Or is it just the case that the end date for all aims including any FS aims would be the last recorded date of anytype of learning, meaning all aims would have the same date?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Sharon

Would definitely separate out the FS end date to the last you can evidence on that, not least because, if they don't come back, you may have claimed some FS money in a month you can't evidence learning for (if they do come back, it's fairly academic because you'll end up with £724 in total either way, but still good practice/manners to get it accurate!)...
