Apprentices put on incorrect version of apprenticeship
Created

Hi
I hope someone can help?
We are engaging with a new employer and are about to sign up two existing/current apprentices and transfer those over to us as the ATP. Since we have been talking and investigating how much they have achieve its, shows that they have been put on the wrong version of the apprenticeship but are now 9 months in. They are in house recruiters and doing recruitment consultant L3 apprenticeship.
Their current work/project work shows that the projects they have completed are not actually useful and wont help them pass their first certificate because they have been doing the external sales module that is not required for the 'in-house' version.
I wondered how we tackle this in terms of funding and ILR submission. Are we able to raise some sort of claim and back date their new training with us? Or is there another way around it as their previous ATP has totally wasted their time, and we are going to have to extend their apprenticeship but with a load of funding already claimed for teaching them the incorrect external sales modules.
