Whole thing seems daft to me. The SLD/FIS team have bent over backwards to deal with CAs and their various assorted uplifts over the past couple of years and, as I'm currently dealing with NINE CAs at once, that centralised Occupancy report is a lifesaver.
I can't think of anything GLA are doing with regard to funding rates that wouldn't just be done by FIS, they're not doing anything ridiculous (Unlike Certain Authorities I Could Mention (funding rate depends on whether Matrix or Adult Skills Fund is higher, is it?)), so can't imagine what additional processing they could be doing? Suspect we'll have to wait until we get sight of it and then spend the next six months picking holes in it (assuming they're not going to produce a comprehensive guide to what they're doing...)...

GLA Produced Occupancy & Funding Summary reports
Edited
With the GLA doing their own processing of ESFA occupancy data & producing their own occupancy & funding summary reports , how are providers supposed to do their own internal funding reporting without access to the underlying data of the GLA produced reports?
Previously we have used tables in FIS SQL exports but it seems this will not be the finalised data because the GLA has not yet processed it.
Is there something I have missed about the GLA processing the occupancy data? Will in fact FIS reports still be credible?
