Apprenticeship but no Qual

Created

None

Hi All,

We have some new apprentices on a programme which is new for us to deliver. A Team Leader Apprenticeship.

There is no Qualification required for this programme but the Workbooks and EPA are through Highfields.

To show on the ILR - we have added it in this way and we wanted to double check that this is correct.

ZPROG Aim - to show the learner is on the Apprenticeship Programme

EPA Aim - as component aim (61003050 - End Point Assessment for ST0384 for Team Leader or Supervisor)

This EPA aim we have put dates as start and end to match ZPROG as the workbooks provided are started at the beginning.

Have we misunderstood anything or have we added the aims correctly?

Thanks Emma

No, you don't use those EPA aims. I'm not 100% sure why they even exist (I suspect because Ofqual approved the EPAs and therefore, as if by magic, they get a learning aim).

For Apprenticeship Standards with no qualifications, you need to use a generic Z Code component aim. You can search for your standard on the spreadsheet here:

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/apprenticeship-standard-class-codes

And it will tell you which one to use. For the Team Leader or Supervisor standard, the Z code is Z0001926.
