Solicitors letter - Residency permit confirmation

Hi All,
We have a learner who cant provide an updated BRP card as their family has an open query with the Home Office due to errors in file and other "issues". The family have a solicitor involved in their case and the solicitor has given us some background but has confirmed they hold leave to remain. Would this solicitor letter stand up at audit?

I'd say "yes", but then I would, wouldn't I? ;)
Particularly as it's SP where the eligibility is a lot wider than any other programme, I'd be happy with it.
