Learning Support Costs - LSA
Created
Hello
We are in the process of claiming our first Learning Support Funding for our apprentices. We are looking at employing an LSA specifically to support them with theory in lessons (if identified as being needed). If the LSA provides support to one apprentice then I know we can claim the £150 per month (subject to the assessment, plan and reviews being in place as per various webinars I've attended).
My question is: if another apprentice then also needs support and so instead of 1:1 it is 1:2 support (or 1:3, 1:4 etc), can we claim the LSF for all apprentices? The cost (salary of the LSA) will not change in line with the number of apprentices being supported but I'm assuming it is ok to claim this funding for each one?
