If a learner is on a break in learning and wishes to do a resit exam where all learning has already taken place, is this allowed under the funding rules? They have completed technical studies and failed the exam twice, are not on a break in learning but wanted to resit the exam whilst on the break. Training provider is stating that resits are not allowed but some research on the internet suggests that resits would be allows as exams aren't part of the funding and all learning has taken place.
