One of the things I have asked the Agency for is the ability to get to the detail behind these feedback scores so you can address issues with particular employers or areas of delivery, but that is not likely to happen and you can understand the rationale behind the value of the anonymity in collecting such data.
However, as providers we should be and in most cases are collecting learner and employer voice ourselves at regular intervals in the learner journey and feeding that into our quality improvement process. This valuable information can then be used in any conversations with the Agency around this element of the AAF.

Am I right in thinking that this link for employers is sent out by DfE or can they provide feedback at any point.
Also, in terms of the apprentice, do they have their own login to provide feedback or is it only the employers.
We already have our own reporting and monitoring of feedback from both employers and apprentices but as this is reviewed as part of the AAF, was wondering if other providers are doing things differently.

Hi Eileen Moran, e-mails do go out from the ESFA however when I queried the frequency recently I was told that the functionality isn't working as expected. On that basis, some employers may be receiving reminders while others aren't or there could be none at all being sent.
Apprentices receive an e-mail when they are set up on the Apprenticeship Service prompting them to create an account. You can see the status of this in your "Manage your apprentices" list where it will show as Overdue, N/A or Confirmed.
Our approach with both apprentices and employers is to include a reminder re leaving feedback in our engagements with them - reviews, etc.
Thanks for the response Darren. That's interesting with regards the functionality not working as expected yet we are monitored on it as part of the accountability framework.
Similar to you, we collect feedback in other forms and have our own department dedicated to obtaining this from both employer and apprentice.

Hi, could someone please advise how employer and apprentice feedback is captured as part of the AF. Do the Employers and Apprentices receive a link to access and leave feedback. Is this something that is sent out externally. If so, how often is this sent out. Many thanks
