Apprenticeship 19+ Functional Skills Rules

Created

None

We're working with a learner where they were previously required to secure both the English and the Maths, on our Early Intervention Programme, and in discussion now on whether she continues with the FS, she and the employer feel that the English is the key one she would really continue to benefit from whilst the Maths is less essential.

My interpretation of the new funding rules is that we can consider the Maths and English separately and she can withdraw from the Maths - amended on the training plan - and maintain the English.

Just wanted to sense check that others have interpreted the rules in the same way and would agree with the thinking.
