We have an apprentice who has been on mat leave and continuing with the practical period using her KIT days. In the original plan, she was returning to work w/c 10th April and was completing her remaining 37 hours OTJ and then will enter gateway and proceed as normal as she would be back at work. At this point she has used all of her 10 KIT days.

 It looks like she will not be returning to work until June now, which impacts our original plans. 

However, my question is, as she has no more KIT days to take and would be on mat leave between Gateway (April) and June, can she continue on the programme during the EPA phase whilst still on maternity leave?

When is she going to do those last 37 OTJ though? She can't go to Gateway until she's done that, can she? Feels like you're heading towards a BIL to me (which is somewhat annoying having, presumably, got all the way through planned mat leave without one!)? Or, if she's past her planned end date anyway, and therefore out of funding, does it really matter (as long as she does come back in June)?
