Earnings Threshold - recording evidence

Created

None

Good Afternoon

I was hoping to pick some brains please regarding Earnings threshold and how to record the evidence seen.

Can I ask the detail of data you record and how you record the evidence seen for the state benefit or the proof of earning under the £25,000?

Specifically:

  • Do you record what the document was you saw as evidence?
  • Do you record dates / month / year of the document provided?
  • Do you record the amount in £ of wages or benefit?
  • Do you record some calculation?
  • Do you record evidence seen on your MIS system or elsewhere?
  • As it is sensitive data, is it locked down or available for all to see?

Any share of practice in this area would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance. Clare

Hi Clare,

We record the last 4 digits of the document received, we accept payslips (for last 3 months) or P60. We record evidence seen in our MIS & also sign enrolment form. This information is only accessible to MIS admin and the information submitted via learner is erased in the end of academic year.

I hope this helps.
