Hi,
You can continue to claim LSF for those who are still being supported beyond their practical planned end date as per the below from the provider support manual, for claiming LSF via the ILR, the limitation would be the learning actual end date.
- If Learning support funding or Advanced Learner Loans Bursary funding is required beyond the planned end date of the learning aim, then the Date applies to field should be updated to reflect this.
With regards to gateway, the wider LSF guidance does make reference to being able to claim for reasonable adjustments in relation to the end point assessment so if you're claim is tied to that aspect of the 'gateway' then it seems that'd be permissible, you'll likely have to claim this via the Earnings Adjustment Statement (EAS) as the actual end date would be before the claim/support occurring.

Learning Support Funding - Gateway and when out of funding

Hi All,
I am just double checking here regarding claiming LSF when a learner is out of their planned learning period or when they are in gateway.
I am assuming no funding is paid in these instances but just wanted to check.
Thanks in advance.
