27.
A provider must not claim funding for individuals who:27.5. Are undertaking training funded through the Adult Skills Fund (ASF),
where that training will:
27.5.1 Replicate vocational and other learning aims covered by the
apprenticeship, including English and maths;
27.5.2 Offer career related training that conflicts with the
apprenticeship aims; or
27.5.3 Take place during working hours. Where an apprentice has
more than one job, working hours refers to the hours of the
job the apprenticeship is linked to.
27.5.4 As an exception to paragraph 27.5 an individual may
commence an apprenticeship and attract funding where they
have less than four weeks to completion of an existing DfE
funded course.

Hi, could anyone help me out please and advise if it's possible to start an apprenticeship while completing English & Maths which is funded through AEB funding?
