Learner data for funding models added to understand your funding

The understand your funding (UYF) dashboard in Submit Learner Data (SLD) was updated on 4 August 2025 to include learner data that can be filtered by:
standard for apprenticeships
aims for 16-19 education, adult skills fund, non-funded and tailored learning courses
contract reference number for Skills Bootcamps
programme for T Levels and T Level foundation years
Each count is up to and including the last day of the calendar month of the collection period. For example, for R06 the last calendar day would be 31 January.
If you have access to submit ILR returns you will automatically have access to the understand your funding dashboard. Colleagues who do not submit ILR returns can also get access. You will need to assign them with the role of ‘Submit Learner Data – Finance Dashboards’ within their DfE Sign-in account.
