Progressing Apprentices to next level after gateway

Hi there!
Does anyone know the admin process for progressing apprentices who have satisfied gateway but not completed EPA to the next level prior to completing their EPA? Sure I heard lots of talk about this last year but now struggling to find guidance!

You can't start them on the next one until they've finished the current one, the dates can't overlap...
