OTJ Hours 25-26 & applying a reduction
Created
None
Hi all, not sure if I'm overthinking this, I found it pretty easy calculating reductions in cost & duration using the 6 hour weekly minimum, but now it seems beyond my maths brain. I can calculate the cost as it's a %, but for hours would you calculate average weekly hours depending on how long the typical duration is which means for some standards the learners will need to do more OTJH per week and others will be less than the previous 6. For eg Business Administrator minimum hours is now 278 but Skills England recommended duration is 18 month, so 78 weeks - 8.4 holiday entitlement = 69.6, 278/69.6 = 4 hours per week. If the reduction was 30 hours, would you divide this by 4 to calculate the number of weeks to reduce the duration by?
That makes sense in my head so hope it does to you so you can give your opinions haha :)
