Maximum length of OTJ log entries

Does anyone have guidance on how long an OTJ log entry can be? For example, if a learner spends a full 8 hour workday on OTJ training, they would log 7 hours (excluding breaks) but if they attend a week long training course, could they make one reflective log covering the whole week and record 25 hours in a single entry? Would that be acceptable, or could it cause issues in audit?

When we were audited they wanted to be able to check each individual day's hours so they could check that they weren't recording more OTJ than their working day, and they queried logs which had week-long blocks like your example.

Thanks for the reply. It’s a bit tricky as the portfolio system we use doesn’t have many restrictions on how OTJ is logged. We were hoping that a learner could, for example, enter a single 15 hour OTJ entry and then note in the description something like: Completed 15th - 19th September, 10am to 1pm each day - that way the breakdown is still visible for audit testing
