Plumbing Standard - Pathway Change

Edited

I've confused myself....! We have an apprentice who is on ST0303 - Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard: Plumbing and Domestic Heating Technician and was doing the Natural Gas pathway. He changed employer and they changed his pathway to the Environmental Technologies pathway. There is a City and Guilds qualification as part of this apprenticeship - 60341464.

In the ILR have left him on the ZPROG but have amended the  60341464 qual as our system is set up so they denote the pathway in their course title. I've reduced the funding on the new  60341464 qual in the funding adjustment field.

Is this correct? Or as he is still on the same City and Guilds qualification and the same ZPROG Standard, did I need to change anything at all? I'm assuming I need to change something for internal purposes if nothing else..... if I don't change the qual aim, he will be on Natural Gas instead of Environmental Tech for reporting purposes etc.

Thanks

Hi Rachel

There's no funding attached to the component aims, so no reason to add anything in that field. As you say, it's a good idea for internal purposes but has no effect on the funding or the QAR.

Thanks Steve Hewitt - he was appearing on my R12 PDSATs report: 25A-507 Learners resuming regulated learning aims:

Aim sequence number Learning aim reference Learning aim title Aim level Framework code Pathway Apprenticeship standard code Restart indicator Funding adjustment for prior learning Learning start date Original learning start date Learning planned end date Learning actual end date Achievement date Completion status Outcome Withdrawal reason
1 61046723 Diploma in Plumbing & Domestic Heating 3     225     13/09/2024   12/09/2028 05/07/2025   3 3 40
3 61046723 Diploma in Plumbing & Domestic Heating 3     225     07/07/2025   12/09/2028     1

Do I need to do anything to 'fix' the above other than add the Funding adjustment for prior learning (even though it is unfunded)?

Thanks

Steve Hewitt

Nah, it's fine, it won't go away from the PDSAT anyway, but you know *why* it's there, so it's fine. You only need to add the funding adjustment if it's Adult Skills Fund (and, as I say, even in those circs it wouldn't disappear from the report).

Steve Hewitt - thank you 😊
