Completion Payments

None

Hello

We have several learners who have completed learning but have failed the final assessment and will not be resitting based on this rule: “Payment will be made on the completion of the learning – completion payments. Achievements will continue to be recorded with no additional payment.”

Are we ( a Grant Awarded commissioner) correct in paying the full value minus a management fee to the Subcontracted Training Provider?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Wendy,

In terms of the total funding you will have received, a learner who has Completed & failed (sat all elements of the EPA) & a learner who has Completed & achieved you will receive the same amount of funding (100%)

Depending on the contract/agreement you have, yes you should pay them the normal rate since the funding you get for an achievement/fail is the same (100%)

If you have a scenario where the EPA Is 5 elements, they do 3/5 and do not sit the remaining 2/5 this would be a withdrawal & not a fail, then you would not receive this completion payment (20%)
