Good morning 

Can anyone advise the process for transferring core aims to another one outside the funding qualifying period?

Can this be done and how do other providers evidence this?

Hi Chris

Yes, this is fine as long as the dates don't overlap, you can have multiple core aims in series, just not in parallel. Otherwise you're needlessly affecting your retention factor.

Thanks for this Steve. I was always led to believe that you cant change the plan after the 42 day period for some reason.

if a learrner stops doing plumbing and starts doing hairdressing, you need to accurately reflect that though? Or do you mean concurrent aims?

Yes we have 5 learners wanting to move from a sport qual to customer service. Both have 120 GLH so what we normally do is an ILP changes from which shows the changes (all our voc quals are 120 GLH) The overall programme hours and funding will not change.

Right, cool, so definitely add the Customer Service qual as a core aim as well.
