If an apprentice goes on a Break in Learning but carries on working with their employer, are there any issues around their wage / salary? I've been asked this as a hypothetical question and have not come across this scenario - I'm guessing there could be an implication for those aged 18+ who are receiving the apprentice minimum wage in their first year.
Would they still be able to be paid the apprentice rate even whilst on a BiL?
