Calculating payment to be received

Created

None

Recently moved into the world of MIS and DfE funding, so I'm sure (hoping) there is a simple answer to this query. Other than waiting for the payment to hit our account on or around the 20th of the month, once a final claim has been submitted for a period, how do we know the figure in advance that we will be getting paid? We'd been using the 'Cross Year Indicative Payments Report' from the period end reports suite, but I now understand that this is only published in the first three months of a new contract year, so isn't available for R04.

Do we need to use a combination of the reports available to reach the payment figure, or is there one cell on a particular report spreadsheet that can be honed in on for this amount?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated, as currently going round in circles. Thank you in advance.

Morning Tom

You should have your Period End reports from your R04 submission which will have a Funding Summary report within it that gives you confirmation of the overall amount of money you are expecting to receive. If you need to drill down to the amount you will receive per learner then the details are in the Apps Monthly Payment report. Confirmation of any additional payments you are expecting have a separate report and any EAS payments are in a separate zip file. If the figures are not what you are expecting then check the submit learner data portal under the FM36 Summary for any DLOCKs or clawbacks that might have also impacted your funds.
