EAS claim

Hi,
We have some learners who are at Gateway/EPA still receiving ALS. We were told we could continue to claim for them via EAS. I was having trouble uploading a file so contacted customer help for advice. When I explained what we were trying to claim for I received the following:
Yes you can make an EAS claim for support given during gateway, but only if the support costs are more than what standard LSF covers.
Does this mean that once a learner has completed their practical period, we can no longer claim unless the cost goes above the standard £150? Or is thre another way to claim?
TIA

Oh, this is a very good question... I think you can leave the LSF record open even when the learner is 1&8 which should still generate the £150 a month? Give it a go and see if it works!
