Hi,
We have several learners who are at Gateway/EPA who are still receiving ALS. We have been of the understanding that we can still claim ALS funding for them by submitting an EAS. I have had a few problems trying to get the upload correct so contacted the help desk. I received the following reply
Yes you can make an EAS claim for support given during gateway, but only if the support costs are more than what standard LSF covers.
Looking at this it is saying we can only claim if the support costing is over £150 per month. They are receiving standard support so does this mean we cannot claim for them? If not, is anyone aware of how we can claim it or do we stop support once learner reach Gateway/EPA?
TIA

I think the position is that LSF only relates to training and therefore would only occur in the practical period- if there are additional support needs for EPA this would be deemed to be covered in the negotiated TNP2 cost.
