Adding Apprenticeship Units to Enter Learner Data

Created

Hi,

Please could someone advise how to add an Apprenticeship Unit as a course on Enter Learner Data?

I have selected the Course Type as "Non-funded apprenticeship standard (Funding model 99). On the step where you have to select the "Apprenticeship Standard Details" I'm unable to search by any of the codes that I can find for the unit on 'Find a learning aim'.

The unit is: AI leadership – AI strategy and opportunity - Apprenticeship unit, the only codes I can find are:

Learning Aim Class Code: ZSC00009

Reference: AU0009

Under Category Codes it says "91" but this does not seem right at just wants to select the Apprenticeship Standard "Software Tester"?

Any help, or advice would be much appreciated.

I'm also new to using Enter Learner Data so any support would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi Claire,

The Apprenticeship Unit Technical Funding guide should help you with how to enter the units on to the ILR. The units will not have an 'Apprenticeship Standard' as they are not a full standard.  You will use the Learning Aim Class code as your learning aim reference.

Hope this helps

Hi Claire,

Enter Learning Data is currently available for

  • funded or non-funded apprenticeship standards
  • care to learn (FM82)

Apprenticeship Units will be available in the service from August 2026 under the new funding model (FM39).

Other funding models are being added to the service and we will notify users when these are available.

Thanks

Lynne
