Delivery location Postcode for Prisoners

Hi. I am looking for some clarity regarding prisoners, who are attending our campus for study, with which value I need to enter for the Delivery Location Postcode field in the ILR. Looking at the current 25/26 Adult Skills rules, as the majority of learning takes place at our campus I should use our campus' postcode. However, I'm sure I have seen somewhere (but I cannot find out where) that prisoners should have the value ZZ99 9ZZ used instead.

Can anyone clarify this for me at all? Many thanks.

Its based on the ILR spec Mike. 

ILR Specification 2025 to 2026: Field: Delivery Location Postcode

  • All provision delivered face to face should have a valid postcode, whether it is the provider’s site postcode or the postcode of another location where the provision is being delivered. The ZZ99 9ZZ postcode should only be used where the majority or all the learning is being delivered remotely.

Thanks, Chris. I only ask as I once found that ZZ99 9ZZ was used on prisoners, but this seemed to be amended each academic year. Just needed to check for Audit purposes.
