Hi
I wondered if anybody had any advice on coding a redundant learner who is under the age of 18. According to manual the employment status record is updated but what code would you use for the benefit status indicator? As the learner is under 18 they can't claim benefits can they?

You don't *need* to add a BSI to an unemployed EmpStat record, so don't worry about it.
The requirement is to update the Employment Status to code 11 or 12 it does not say you need to include any Learner Employment Status Monitoring such as BSI.
