Hi everyone,

i have a query relating to the above PDSAT report. We have a learner who was on a 2nd year apprenticeship and was studying learning aim 60086038 Diploma in Site Carpentry as part of the apprenticeship. They have now withdrawn off this and enrolled on to a full time EFA funded courses. The core aim is 60086038 Diploma in Site Carpentry.

As EFA learners are funded on hours I'm unable to do a funding adjustment so do i need to reduce the hours to take into account any prior learning or do i not need to as they are different funding streams ie 36 to 25?

Thanks everyone

Yes, because they're different funding streams, it's fine.

I suppose the question is does the learner need to attend all of the remaining classes (and therefore have all of the hours) or have they already learnt some of the stuff on their App, that's how you'd do the "funding adjustment" as such, if the learner wasn't planning to attend a bunch of sessions.
