ESF Participant Data Schema

Hi all,
I'm trying to fill in the ESF Participant Data Schema 9.3.1 for a project in the Coast to Capital region. Having completed the claims deliverable tab, I then click on the 'Create Export Sheet' button. It then completely fails, excel goes into death mode and I start screaming.
Is there anyone else out there who is successfully using this who can give me some help.
