For achievers, the ACT Applies To date is the Ach Date - yes?  Dont suppose anyone knows where this is written?  I need it in black n white!

(you don't really need it in black and white cos yr ILR will error if you use any other date ;))

Slightly annoyingly, the PSM is ambivalent about it:

The Date applies to field should only be completed when either:

  • you need to add a new ACT record with a later Date applies from, or

  • the aim has been closed and the Learning actual end date returned.

But it doesn't tell you which date to use (it's definitely the Ach date)

Thanks Steve

Our new MIS provider appears to be taking the 2nd point as an explicit instruction.   So when we are updating our records to show that a learner has an AED (end of prac period) and has entered EPA this is auto adding the same date to the ACT Applies To.  Which means that not only is it triggering an Error for being populated (as the learner remains Active at that point) but its also the wrong date!

This is documented in the PSM sections for FM 36 completions

For Frameworks: The Date applies to must be recorded on the latest Apprenticeship contract type FAM record as the same date as the Learning actual end date for the programme aim.

For Standards: The Date applies to must be recorded on the latest Apprenticeship contract type FAM record as the same date as the achievement date for the programme aim.
