I've asked the ESFA who sent it to the Apprenticeship Service who haven't responded.
I have a student that is currently on a Hospitality apprenticeship but can no longer get the evidence for that specific App however can currently get the evidence for the Hospitality Production apprenticeship. I know I can do a transfer due to change of job however normally the new App would need to last at least a year and a day plus EPA time. The student only needs about 4 months of the App training before they will be ready for the EPA on the new Apprenticeship.
If anyone can help and advise if I can do this and have the new App with only a 4 month duration that would be very much appreciated!

A Change in standard is a new start and you need to APL, in your case this may make the Apprentice ineligible due to the minimum duration or min 20% OTJ requirement.
