Overlapping funding streams (Loans & Apprenticeship)

Hi,

Has anyone had an instance where a learner wants to start a loans funded provision course prior to completing their EPA?

We have an apprentice who has completed learning, but their EPA has been delayed and they are keen to start another course before sitting their EPA.

My immediate thought is overlapping funding streams, but would it either:

• not be an overlap as learning had finished and the EPA wouldn't be taken into consideration
• be an overlap as the date of the EPA would overlap with the start date of the loans funded course

Anyone know where this overlap could possibly be picked up - would it be FRM03 report?
