Is it possible to claim Learner Support for Funding model 10 please? It seems reading the rules you can but this is a new one for me?

You can include ALS in your FM10 funding claim, but it is not directly claimed per learner from the ILR as with FM35/36.

All FM10 funding is claimed via the year end funding claim.

You need to keep separate records of justification and cost for all FM10 delivery for audit purposes this would include evidence of need, delivery and cost of any ALS delivered.

Please be aware that to claim FM10 you need to have an allocation in your grant/contract.

Yes, kind of, except FM10 is never really part of ESFA Learner Number audit (eg, there's not a sample or specific audit checks for it).

So, conceptually, you can spend your FM10 allocation on whatever you want, it's just a pile of money to help learners to learn, but it's not getting any bigger, so if you're doing stuff that looks like learner/learning support it's got to come out of the same pile, there's no way to vire from your FM35 pot.
