Break in Learning for Non-Funded Enrolment
Created
What's the appropriate course of action when recording an agreed break in learning for a non-funded student?
We've historically withdrawn them (status 3), rather than use the temporary withdrawal (status 6) / restart mechanism in the AEB rules, but I'm not sure if there's any reason why we can't mirror the AEB rules for non-funded students for the sake of consistency. Is there any obvious issues with this?
The purpose of a BIL is to suspend funding but this is not applicable for none funded students and I would not advise using anything which the guidance does not support.
