State aid declaration needed after Brexit?

Created

None

The rules (P258, 2021 v3) still state that we need to get a copy of state aid declaration from employers funding an apprenticeship via transfer. The gov.uk guidance on state aid (https://www.gov.uk/guidance/state-aid#guidance) has been withdrawn post brexit though, and I can't figure out from what has replaced it whether the de minimis state aid limit of €200,000 still actually applies or not. From my layman reading, it looks like it doesn't... but then, the funding rules haven't been updated. Anyone got any clues?

Follow up question - assuming we do have to still get the declaration from them, there isn't a mandatory template for this, right? I can accept whatever the employer provides (or, if they struggle, draft a template for them myself?)?

Many thanks! :)

Yes I was starting to wonder about this myself, it's still mentioned in version 4 of the funding rules so it looks like the declaration still has to be collected. I also cannot see anywhere where it clarifies if the de minimis State Aid amount still applies under the new subsidy control rules, any ideas would be appreciated?
