Apprenticeship with EHC plan

Created

None

The funding rules and Provider support manual suggest that an apprentice who is aged 19-24 with an EHC plan is entitled to additional funding support. I can see the EHC_1 value and potentially EEF_2 but how do you note that the Apprentice does not want the Employer to be advised?

Are there any additional codes I have missed?

Kind regards

Gill

You use learning delivery funding monitoring code 362 to identify apprentices who do not wish their employer to be informed that they are a care leaver.

P130 Where a 19 to 24-year-old apprentice does not want to inform their employer that they were previously in care, then you must report the appropriate code in the ILR. This will generate the funding for you and the apprentice but not the employer. Where this is the case you must not apply the co-investment waiver (see paragraph P133). This means that you must not record the code for the waiver in the ILR.
