MI System change - data checking

Hello all
We are in the process of transferring over to a new MI System this month for R07. Our ILR data has now imported into the new system we are to start using, but we want to be 100% sure the data is accurate, and has imported over correctly.
Does anyone have any advice, or list of cross reference checks we could complete?
I was thinking check our ESFA reports - maybe even run the data through a DSAT? If anyone has some good suggestions it would be really appreciated please.
