The original incentive £1000 paid to the provider can be paid to any new employer see the technical guidance below:
- The provider will continue to receive additional payments. Any remaining additional payments not paid to the original employer you can pay to the new employer. We add the number of days in learning during the first period of learning to the days in the second period, and subsequent periods, to calculate if we will generate any remaining additional payments.
The new incentive paid via DAS is different as the employer must apply in DAS for the payment but this is only for new starts from this year.

DAS Apprentice Incentive for hiring a new Employee - transfer

Did anyone else think that learners who started their apprenticeships in 19/20, that transferred to new Employers in 20/21 would be eligible for the above incentive please (even if only the 365 day payment, not both 90 and 365)? Or did we get that completely wrong.
I am sure we queried with the helpdesk and they advised it was anyone that was a new Employee from August 2020 was eligible.
