Industry Placements stopped by Covid

Hi, I am sure this information must be somewhere, but google has failed me.
We have a number of students who started industry placements at 315 hours which should have lasted all year. I realise the end date will need to be the actual end date, but what do I do with the hours? Do they stay as planned?
