Potential eligible learner

Hi,

We have a learner who is 23 and originally from South Africa.

She is here on an ancestral visa and has been in the UK for 3+ years. Going on that, I think she would be eligible on P390 of the funding rules.

Her father also has been in the UK since 2016 and has a British Passport and Driving Licence.

Could you confirm if you think this would make the learner eligible for an Apprenticeship?

Thanks in advance,

Ruby.

Under P398 of the current Apprenticeship rules - she would be the family member with her father being the principal, making her fundable in my opinion

Hi Ruby

Agree learner is fundable, would just check when her plans are when her visa expires (if it's before the App would finish) to make sure she can finish.
