Kick Start and Traineeships

Hi,
does anyone know if Kick Start can be counted as Employment progression for Traineeships?
I suspect not as both are separate government employment schemes.

Considering a learner is a progression if they go on to a (govt funded) course, I'd be surprised if Kickstart didn't count as an employment progression? It's still a job? I don't suppose for a moment that it's written down explicitly anywhere though...
