Transferring from a Study Programme to an Apprenticeship - GCSEs

We've got a Study Prog learner who has a willing employer to take them on an Apprenticeship now, but they're not due to complete their Maths GCSE til June. Can I just transfer the GCSE aim over to FM35 for the last eight weeks (and am I allowed the £471?)? I know, per Q15 in the Study Prog guidance on withdrawals, that I'll have to reduce the hours on the study prog to match the actual.

Hi Steve

Your original query is a couple of years old now, but I have an apprentice in the same position and we'd normally transfer them to Functional Skills as part of the apprenticeship but their mum really wants them to remain on GCSE. Do you remember how you dealt with this one? Thanks.

Ha! Sorry Fiona, I can barely remember what I did last week at the moment!

Would have to triple check the GCSE aim is funded for Apps, but I'm fairly certain that just added it instead of the FS aim and it was... fine?
