National Skills Fund - Workplace Learning?

Created

None

Hi all,

Does anybody know whether National Skills Fund courses are funded for workplace learning?

In my eyes, it's a legal entitlement that allows adults to achieve their first full L3 so do feel that P188.3 in the 20/21 AEB rules would apply, but the reference to P201.1.2 takes you to the 19-23 section so thought I better check!

Learning in the workplace

188. We will fund learning in the workplace where a learner has a legal entitlement to full funding for:

188.1. English and/or maths up to and including level 2 (Paragraph 191), and/or

188.2. a first full level 2 (paragraph 201.1.1), or

188.3. a first full level 3 qualification (paragraph 201.1.2)

188.4. essential digital skills qualification, up to and including level 1 (paragraph 197)

Thank you in advance

Hi Connor. Check out this thread: https://esfahelp.education.gov.uk/hc/en-gb/community/posts/360010604039-level-3-adult-offer-Learning-in-the-Workplace

A reply from the ESFA stated that it isn't a legal entitlement at the moment but they are considering it for the future.

Thank you Matt Wood, appreciate that, although not the answer I wanted really!
