Price above the funding band limit

Created

Hi all,

For those of you that have Prices above the funding band limit, and need to show in your ILR that you have received the amount above band in order for the achievement payment being released are you recording those "additional" payments as PMR1s

Reason I ask is we have learners who are have monthly co-investment payments due, that are being recorded as PMR1s and we need to record PMR1s for the additional payment above the funding band (I think).   My colleague is worried that if we record the "additional" payments then the monthly co-investment payments will be affected as in theory the "Amount due from employer" (Apps Co-Investment report) could say £75.78 but the amount collected could say £7,963.16 which is related to the amount above the funding band limit and not the 5% employer contribution.

Example would be from the Apps Co-investment report

Total employer contribution collected (PMR) in this funding year Total co-investment (below band upper limit) due from employer in this funding year
7963 75.78944

and then from the Apps Indicative Earnings Report

Price amount above funding band limit
 £                        12,250.00

We've been told if the "Price amount above funding band limit is not shown as paid then we won't get the completion payment.  Apologies for the waffle but I confess my colleague has got me tied in spaghetti on this one :-)

That the problem with colleague’s but you do record all cash payments from the employer that are co-investment including any amount over the CAP as this is included in the overall negotiated cost recorded in the ILR.

Thank you Martin, I will stand my ground.
