Thank you for this Martin, really helpful. We have a similar scenario whereby the learner changed employer, no gap in employment so we added TNP3 (framework) as of their first date of employment, but then they went on a BIL. They have now returned, so do we repeat the same value TNP3 using the restart date....or do we recalculate the TNP3 based on what we have already received in terms of funding? Many thanks as always for your help and support
The guidance is:
On the restart from the BIL record the price details as required using AFinType = TNP and the applicable codes. The price recorded on the new programme aim should be the same as the price prior to the break in learning unless you and the employer have negotiated a new price for the programme.

Apprentice with new employer so new negotiated price

Hi,
We have a learner where the Employer has changed 3 times. As follows: (maximum funding band £7000)
1st Employer Negotiated price £6600 and £400 for EPA (start date 1/8/19)
2nd Employer Negotiated price £1800 and EPA £400 (new employer date 01/10/20 * this was reduced due to the support given and speed of achievement within this employer, with dedicated support within this particular employer.
3rd Employer, Negotiated price £2500 and EPA £400 (10/04/21)* due to lockdown the learning hasn't progressed in knowledge and confidence has reduced.
My question is can the 3rd employer be higher than the 2nd employer? not had this before.
and can someone show me how this should look in TNP section of the ILR? so i can make sure it's correct.
Thank you In advance
