Learners reported in the previous year as continuing who have now been identified as withdrawn
On the learning aim, set the Completion status to code 3 ‘withdrawn’ and complete the Withdrawal reason field with the relevant code. Record the Learning actual end date as the last day the learner was in learning: this will be in the previous ILR year, do not use 1 August of the current year.
You must add a Destination and Progression record for this learner if applicable.
Thanks. I have tried to do this, however because we were unaware that they'd withdrawn in Jan 2020, we'd put them on a learning break in April '20 and resumed them in May '20. Consequently adding the date of Jan '20 for the withdrawal throws up an error. Unless I should do this in the original record? If that makes any sense......

Recording withdrawal after hard return AND after BiL
Created
I'd like some advice please. I have recently been informed by my course teams that a student who I believed was active, has in fact withdrawn. The withdrawal occurred before the hard return (I have found the guidance on how to record this). However, to complicate matters, this student's whole cohort had a short break in learning due to Covid (April 2020 - May 2020). This break has been recorded on the student's ILR (although now obviously incorrectly). How do I now record this correctly? The BiL and resumption shouldn't be there but we have gone through hard return?
