Is this not covered by the following exception?
P405.4 Apprentices whose occupation involves significant travel outside of the UK as part of their job (such as in travel or tourism) or work offshore (such as on an oil platform) and they have an identified registered work location in England. You must not claim for the additional expense of delivering learning outside of England.

Please could anybody point me in the right direction of the rules for this particular employer question.
Can an apprentice start an apprenticeship when they are going to be deployed to Estonia for a 6-month operational tour during their programme. They will have good internet access and time available to study, but will not be able to commit to any pre-programmed learning sessions and will not be able to attend any residential periods.
Any advice welcome.
