Funding adjustment for prior learning

For transfers to a different provider on the same or a different apprenticeship you do not use the funding adjustment for the programme aim as you record a new price for completing the training, see the following from the guidance.

The new provider will create new learning aims for the apprentice with new start dates and planned end dates as applicable. The new provider must record the new price for the programme using AFinType = TNP and AFinCode 1 and 2 as applicable, the Apprenticeship contract type FAM must also be recorded.

You do not use the funding adjustment on component aims excepting for funded Maths and English, but it is not normal to reduce the funding where previous delivery was with a different provider as the proportion of training to be delivered will be generally unknown.

Is this also the same for framework transfers.  I can see in the guidance for all that the "original learning start date" is also not entered.

Thanks - couldn't see the bit about functional skills?

That was my comments on functional skill, the Provider support manual states ‘If the provider is delivering all of the learning for the aim and no adjustment to funding is required’ but if you know the FS prior learning and you will be delivering less FS training than standard then you should use the Funding adjustment.

Can you please explain how does the planned end date/completion work if we have used this APL and reduced the funding?

Are we able to complete the qualification before 12 months?
